Learn how to remove spyware & adware

How do you remove spyware & adware, designed by their creators to use stealth tactics to evade detection, when attempting to remove spyware and adware?

Without a good defense plan and/or effective software to remove malware, spyware, adware and other types of deceptive software can cause you many headaches in many ways.

Is your computer acting slow or sluggish? Are you seeing strange web pages in your “favorites” folder? Have you clicked on a link that doesn’t work? Are some Windows components not functioning properly?

These are very subtle symptoms of deceptive software. You may be secretly infested with spyware and you need to install effective software to remove spyware.

Spy wear is getting trickier by the day. Many adware companies are realizing that as more people become educated about the effects of deceptive software on their systems they are beginning to now install software to remove spyware.

Spy wear and adware are not lasting as much time on a computer as they used to.

People are quickly realizing that so many targeted ads and pop ups are not normal. Unexpected changes to a web browser’s home page (browser hijacking) or the unexpected installation of a new tool bar, etc is raising a red flag for people to run and buy a spyware remover.

Spy wear is being detected and eliminated faster than ever before.

This has forced adware and spyware companies to employ more subtle or stealth tactics in order to remain hidden on a PC for a longer period of time. In an attempt to avoid software to remove spyware, spy wear companies are creating really light packages. Sometimes weighing as little as 72 kbs! They are also gathering more information from you before sending you a targeted ad.

You only receive an occasional pop up or two so as to not raise any suspicion. But this new breed of spyware can still cause you noticeable discomfort. You may occasionally be prevented from starting a specific program. It may start taking your computer a lot longer to start up or resume a session. Some links might not work when you click on them. Your computer might crash occasionally, etc.

Finding and installing effective software to remove spyware is not easy. There are good removal tools such as Webroot Spy Sweeper, PestPatrol, Spybot Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware, etc. Most of these automated removal tools are recommended by Microsoft at its “Help and Support” page.

There are ways to manually delete these deceptive programs but sometimes they won’t even show up in the Add/Remove programs section of your control panel. If this is the case Microsoft claims you can also use the built-in program remover.

Spy wear can be eliminated using this method by first clicking on the “Start” icon then clicking on “All Programs”. Then clicking the “uninstall” feature. But if no uninstall feature exists DO NOT erase the folder. It could cause your system serious damage. In that case you would need automated effective software to remove spyware and adware malware etc. Spy wear of this sort can be eliminated manually but it may require a lot of technical know how.
