New computer trojans are being created everyday

New Computer Trojans such as the “JPEG of Death.C” Can Infect your PC by Simply Looking At An Image.

Hackers have even found a way to open a back door to your computer through the use of a complex new Trojan virus named JPEG of Death.C.

This computer trojans payload can be very dangerous. Microsoft is urging anyone using windows operating systems or office products to download security patches immediately.

Trojans normally infect a system that has downloaded free software containing hidden spyware within.

They then open a back door to your system that can be used to send or receive information, other files, or more malignant code.

The JPEG of Death.C is much more hideous than that and has been programmed to more easily infect your computer.

Trojans only work when they are manually installed. But the JPEG of Death.C back door trojan horse virus can install itself.

It uses a corrupted JPEG image to breach the security of your computer. Trojans of this sort open a back door which allow malware to be downloaded to your PC from a remote site using File Transfer Protocol technology.

This is possible because of a recently discovered vulnerability in how the windows operating system processes a JPEG image.

According to Enterprise Security Today a “weakness in the Graphic Device Interface Plus (GDI) could allow attackers to break into a computer through a corrupted JPEG image.”

And Webroot says this is a threat to any internet connected computer.

Unless people download protective patches quickly the JPEG of Death.C could possibly infect millions.

This virus infects your PC when you copy a corrupt image from a web page.

But even more dangerously, it has the capacity to automatically infect a computer when you open a simple email that contains a corrupt image.

This means that unless you have downloaded the protective patch you are risking the health of your PC. Computer Trojans are proliferating but they can be controlled.

Constant downloading of patches and updates protects your PC.

Computer Trojans can also be eliminated with antivirus software in conjunction with spyware removal programs, it’s best to be protected before they can enter your system and do any damage.
